About Your Instructor

Emily Gittings began in music at age 6 on the violin and then the trumpet. By high-school Emily had picked up the guitar and bass.

After joining the high school jazz band, Emily landed a prestigious role as the bassist for a semi-professional opera house and began gigging in a rock band. This eventually landed Emily in Nashville where she gigged as a backing artist. She specializes in rock, jazz, musical theater and punk styles.

From reading music to improving, from jazz to country to rock, Emily has you covered.

Emily is currently offering bass lessons for beginner to intermediate musicians and beginner guitar lessons.
